About Us

Windybush Hay Farms LLC is a family owned and operated farm. We provide our community with top quality products and services including: hay, straw, mulch, mushroom soil, seed, trucking, custom mowing and baling, and much more. We are committed to quality and service in all aspects of our operation.

Gail Crooke and son, Nathan, are owners and managers of Windybush Hay Farms. Husband and Father, Jim Crooke, founded the farm in 1980 as Windybush Hay Sales. Our namesake, Windybush, came from the founding farm that Jim began renting located on Windybush Road in New Hope, PA. In 1993, the farm was moved to its current location in Perkasie, PA, when Jim and Gail bought a farm of their own.

Today, Windybush Hay Farms has become a multifaceted company that does more than just hay farming. The largest change since the formation of the farm has been our mulch manufacturing enterprise. Since 2010, we have been making our own top quality mulch products. We sell to both commercial and residential customers. We have added our seed sales enterprise and have expanded our trucking service capacity.

We are so thankful for the opportunities to serve and provide for our community, and we are excited for the future. The farm's growth and success is attributed to the hard work of Jim, Gail, and their 3 children.
